A group of international experts have promoted a cooperation initiative with the aim of analyzing the different therapeutic options and trying to standardize the approach to this type of patients with COVID-19 pneumonia. This pneumonia evolves, in many cases, very quickly towards a situation of typical or atypical acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS).
This group of experts, based on the best scientific evidence available and taking advantage of the experience of several countries, have developed algorithms/guidelines that have been subjected to validation by a broader group of experts. These guides will be updated as new relevant data becomes available.
Through international consensus and based on robust evidence, we create guidelines that allow us to unify criteria for the safe management of mechanical ventilation. We constantly publish all studies related to mechanical ventilation. We collaborate with the design and development of clinical studies related to mechanical ventilation.
