I am currently in my second year in the Master of Science Respiratory Care program at University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. I earned my Bachelor of Science at the University of Tampa. I am committed to fostering advancements within my profession and bringing awareness to mechanical ventilation through my passion. I have held several leadership positions such as being part of the Texas Society for Advancement of Health Professions Leadership Program, Student Council for the Texas Society of Respiratory Care, Graduation/Matriculation chair for the Respiratory Care Student Organization at UT Health San Antonio, Presidential nomination at UT Health, President of the Sputum Bowl Team at UT Health San Antonio and recipient of the 2024 NBRC Leadership Award. Through my experiences and education, I have become a motivated and determined individual that is ready to bring innovation, leadership and excellence in the respiratory care profession.

Works in the WVU health system as a Clinical Specialist and Supervisor of Respiratory Care at Princeton Community Hospital (PCH). Specializes in training and education for RT staff, managing ABG Lab, policy and protocol creation, and mechanical ventilation management and education. 

Engaged with PCH team to reduce ventilator associated events (VAE) by 66% and decreased overall ventilator days by 71% over the last 2 years. Committed to optimizing all ventilator modes but emphasizes Adaptive Support Ventilation (ASV) and Inverse Ratio Ventilation. 

Recently shared the ventilator protocol with the Society of Mechanical Ventilation in hopes of obtaining feedback to modify and improve patient care
